The second vaccine against Covid-19 is ready for boys and girls aged 9, 10 and 11 in 109 municipalities – El Sol de Toluca

From Tuesday, September 20 to Friday, September 23, the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine will be administered to girls and boys aged 9, 10 and 11 in 109 Mexican municipalities.

The authorities of the governments of Mexico and the State of Mexico explained that minors will be able to obtain the biological in their municipality of residence by presenting a CURP or birth certificate, proof of address, a printed file with a QR code that can be downloaded from the site www , mivacuna.salud.gob.mx as well as proof of the first application.

Girls and boys must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18, preferably a mother, father or guardian, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., according to the following schedule:

The authorities reiterated that the vaccine is free and safe, so there is no need to stay overnight or arrive at the modules at dawn and, as much as possible, try to time your arrival so as not to expose yourself to long queues or crowds that put you at risk their health, apart from eating breakfast and if they are being treated, taking their medicines on time.

They added that through the Ministry of Education of the State of Mexico, all conditions and alternatives will be promoted so that minors attend to be vaccinated, which will allow them not to be affected in their school performance.

Residents of Mexico from the other municipalities are asked to be patient and pay attention to the dates on which they will be vaccinated in their localities, which will be announced only through the official media.

Finally, they urged the population to continue preventive health measures even after being vaccinated, such as the proper use of face masks, masks and/or goggles, frequent hand washing and maintaining healthy distance.
