In Ciudad Real, everything is ready for the great National Fair of Hunting, Fishing and Nature Tourism
The National Assembly of Hunting, Fishing and Nature Tourism (FERCATUR 2022)to be held by From September 23 to 25 at the Ciudad Real Pavilionthere will be something in common 70 exhibitors, more than 7,000 square meters of exhibition space and 63 activities for all tastes and for all ages.
Organized by Business Federation of Ciudad Real (FECIR CEOE-CEPYME) with the sponsorship of the Provincial Council of Ciudad Real and the collaboration of the City Council of Ciudad Real, the Castilla-La Mancha Community Board, Impefe and Globalcaja, this assembly will once again become a benchmark for hunting activity and a meeting place for professionals and amateurs.
This was pointed out by the President of FECIR CEOE-CEPYME, Carlos Marinduring the presentation of this edition, in which he assured that “the aim of this fair continues to be the promotion the importance of the hunting sector and nature tourism in our province and in our region, through an event for all audiences, but which at the same time increases its professionalism”.
FERCATUR 2022 will have 70 exhibitors, including companies from all over the world Castile-La Mancha, Madrid, Extremadura, Castile and León, Andalusia, Comunidad Valenciana and Galicia, as well as an exhibitor from Pakistan. Among the sectors that will be represented, we find armories, hunting gastronomy, hunting clothing, cutlery, optics, vehicles, security, hunting crafts, hunting management, animals, fishing and hunting articles, organic and taxidermy.

In addition, there will be a presence of several town halls who wanted to bet on this showcase to promote themselves as tourist destinations related to nature, as is the case of Ruidera, Valdepeñas, Argamasilla de Alba, Saceruela, Almodóvar del Campo, Pedro Muñoz, Argamasilla de Calatrava, Villanueva de los Infantes and Solana del Pino, in addition to the City Council of Ciudad Real.

Likewise, on Saturday, September 24, the Vicario Dam will host the IV Sports Fishing Competition, organized by the Castilla-La Mancha Fishing Federation and the Ciudad Real Fishing School.
FERCATUR 2022 continues to bet on sensitization and therefore there will be again children’s activities such as a children’s workshop “Fauna Conservation for Curious Minds” or archery. In addition, schools will be able to visit the exhibition of self-defense and dog training by the command of the Civil Guard of Ciudad Real.
The program is completed with permanent and interactive activities such as a virtual shooting simulator, an exhibition of hunting trophies, another exhibition of hunting painting by José Manuel Exojo, an exhibition of the Museum of Hunting in Ciudad Real, an exhibition of rehalas de montería and an exhibition of diurnal birds of prey, nocturnal and scavengers.
The president of FECIR, Carlos Marin, gave thank you to all the people, organizations and institutions that make this fair possible, “who position themselves without hesitation in favor of the hunting sector and who contribute to the maintenance of a sector that is vital to this land from an economic, social and cultural point of view, but also from the point of view of ecological sustainability”. A hunting, fishing and nature tourism fair will be held open during hours 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on both Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24, and 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 25. Entrance to the fair is free and open. The registration deadline for activities that require pre-registration, such as cooking shows and workshops, will begin soon.
