The General Director of Quality and Environmental Sustainability, José Manuel Jiménez, presented this morning all the details of the operation planned for the XV edition of the Musicians in Nature festival, which will take place next Saturday, September 10, at the Mesegosillo farm in Hoyos del Espino ( Ávila) and plans to gather more than 10,000 people.
It will be held for the first time in September, as it was due to take place on July 23 but was canceled due to fire danger. The installation of the entire infrastructure of the concert and the parking lot began last Saturday and the work is proceeding at the pace planned by the organization. In total, there will be over 600 people who will be working during this week so that everything can develop normally.
A series of fan arrival and road safety measures have been ordered in the area, which will be in place from 8.00am on the 10th until 6.00am on the 11th and will affect:
- -On the AV-931 road, known as the platform (Hoyos del Espino) from its beginning at the intersection with the AV-941 road, to Puente del Duque.
- – On the Chorreras road, from its beginning at the intersection with the AV-931 road at kilometer 1.5 (Puente del Duque) in Hoyos del Espino to its end on the Navatorres road in the town of Navarredonda de Gredos.
- -On the Navatormes road (Navarredonda de Gredos) from its intersection with the Chorreras road to its beginning at the intersection with the AV-941 road.
- -On the well-known Llardas and Gorrones road, from its beginning at pk 16,300 on the AV-941 (Hoyos del Espino) to its end in the area known as Los Gorrones.
This commemorative edition of the fifteenth anniversary of Músicos en la Naturaleza will have two stages that will host the four concerts planned.
Ainda, Iván Ferreiro and Leiva will perform on stage A from 19:15. It measures 18.5m. mouth and 14 m. Tall. It will have two 4-meter sound towers, 50,000 watts of sound and 200,000 lights.
Stage C, by C.Tangana, will have the same technical specifications and will also have a giant screen on top and a provocateur. The production of the artist from Madrid will give the viewer the feeling of enjoying a movie in real time.
Both scenarios will be together to make them more sustainable and accessible to attendees.
Doors will open at 18:30, with Ainda ringing at 19:15, Iván Ferreiro at 20:00, Leiva at 21:15. and C. Tangana at 11:00 p.m.
Ticket offices will be open on Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 and on Saturday from 12:00 to 21:00. During these periods, fans will be able to purchase their tickets (credit card payment recommended) and exchange them for Fast Bracelets.
Online ticketing will remain open until September 10, and for provincial buses until 00:00 on the 7th. The bus ticketing system will be open until 14:00 on the 10th.
Storage and storage of motorcycle helmets that do not allow access to the hall will operate during box office hours at 10. This service will close 30 minutes after the end of the concert.
The lost item collection point will be at the cash desk during its opening hours.
There are 3,206 parking spaces allocated in 18 specific zones, which will be controlled at all times by the organization’s staff.
As for distribution, 3148 will be for cars, 35 for motorcycles, 23 for buses and 155 for campers in the areas called La Colina and Mirador de Mesegosillo. They will be available from Friday 9 September at 3pm to make it easier for users of this type of vehicle to park them.
The organization, in order to expand the area of influence of Musicians in Nature, organized two bus lines for the 10th.
The first is the one that will connect Arenas de San Pedro with Hoyos del Espino. These buses will depart from the local station and stop at all the towns they pass through. The schedule will be from 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. Return, with the same route and stops, 30 minutes after the end of the concert.
A bus will depart from Candeleda at 17:00 with a stop at Poyales del Hoyo and the rest of the route on this line.
This bus system is also organized by El Barco de Ávila. The timetables will be from 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. from the station and with stops in all passing settlements. The Return, 30 minutes after the end of Musicians in Nature.

As for the buses from different provincial capitals, those from Ávila, León, Zamora, Salamanca, Madrid, Segovia, Burgos, Palencia, Valladolid, Cáceres, Plasencia, Bejar, Bilbao and Vitoria will arrive in Hoyos with a total of 494 fans.
Thanks to the collaboration with Ecoembes, more than 10,000 eco-kits will be distributed among the attendees, with which the festival seeks zero impact. They will contain a trash bag, a recyclable plastic cup and an ashtray, all in a bag made from recycled material. There will be plastic recycling bins throughout the enclosure to deposit waste.
A total of 80 environmental volunteers will be responsible for distributing the kits, providing information about Gredos and the environment, and conducting a series of surveys to learn more about attendees.
As in the previous editions, a series of stands will be located on the territory of the festival, where local artisans will be able to show their products to the attendees. Thus, Musicians in Nature wants to help grow these small businesses through the showcase that this concert represents. Inside the enclosure, in addition to the traditional bars, there will also be places to eat.
According to tickets sold yesterday, an influx of over 10,000 fans is expected. In terms of origin, 39% come from Castile and León, 37% from the Community of Madrid and 7% from Cantabria, as the most significant figures. By gender, 51% of tickets were purchased by women and 33% by men. According to yesterday’s figures, a total of 1125 fans will come by bus from all the planned departures.
Gredos&Música: The human story of a festival
On the occasion of the fifteenth edition of Musicians in Nature, a documentary film of a humanistic nature, recorded entirely in the Mesegosilo estate, will be presented on the festival screens. Through 9 interviews with people directly connected to the festival, fans will be able to learn more about the “inside story” of an event like “Musicians in Nature” and always from the human side. Thus, the tweeter Dani López, known as Dani Gredos, to the first mayor of Hoyos del Espino, in whose mandate the first edition took place, as well as restaurateurs and hoteliers from Hoyos del Espino, participate. It also has the specific vision of a woman from Ávila, director of TVE’s Comando Actualidad program, who made two reports on Musicians in Nature.
